My Recommended Resin Supplies & Starter Kits

When you're starting resin crafting, it can be difficult to know which tools and supplies you actually need.

These are the kits, tools, moulds and materials I personally use in my resin workshops and studio. I’ve tested them over time and recommend them for beginners and experienced makers alike.💛

Beginner Kits

Resin

PPE

• Pink Apron - You probably should get a plastic one as resin can seep through material ones, but I couldnt resist this one as was too cute! :)

Tools & Accessories

• Deburring Tool - Perfect for taking off sharp edges!
  
• Small Drill & Deburring Tool - Brilliant drill for keyrings and taking sharp edges off
• Heat Gun - Great for bubbles - blow across the top, or use to push the colours around!
  
• Blowtorch - Be careful not too hold it too close or too long on your resin!
  
• Sandpaper Kit - This kit has a few little bits to help you with sanding and finishing off your pieces
  
• Mesh Food Cover - This will keep the dust and/or pet hairs off your resin whilst it cures!

Colours & Decorations

• Glitter - I use this Glitter from Hemway - a bit pricier, but great quality and a vast array of colours!
• Dried Pressed Flowers - Good value for money here and different colours.
• Gold Flake - An absolute must have for a lot of resin projects!
• Alcohol Inks - 26 Lets Resin vibrant alcohol colored ink
• Mica Powder - 30 different colours from Craft Resin
• Mica Powder - 36 different colours

Moulds

• Octopus mould - The cutest little Octopus you ever did see!

• Beautiful Little Bowl Mould - Great mould to make a beautiful little bowl
• Serving Tray with Handles - Great tray mould - if you set the handles in the resin you don't need to screw from the bottom
• Heart Shaped Coasters with Diamond Edge - One of my all time favourite moulds - nice thick coasters with gorgeous edge!
• Big Flower Tray & 4 Flower Coasters - Great set for making a big bowl and four mini coasters
• Flat Tray Trinket Dish - Great flat tray for storing jewellery, trinkets, soap
